Nestled alongside the Northern Drakensberg escarpment at Manutsa Peak, our Eco Village offers everything you need for an unforgettable, self-sustainable adventure off the grid. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the magic of unspoiled wilderness, it’s the ideal retreat for nature-loving groups who want to disconnect from the everyday and reconnect with the wild.
The camp accommodates up to 20 guests and is fully self-sufficient, with a communal kitchen, boma, bathrooms, and 10 simple yet comfortable tents built on wooden platforms. Gather around the campfire, cook together under the stars, and experience true sustainable living in the heart of nature.

Sleep under canvas, surrounded by nature. Each of our ten tents sleeps two guests with either two single beds or one double bed, including fresh linen and towels. A small solar panel powers your lights, fan, and charging port — simple, practical comfort that lets you stay close to nature while keeping the basics covered.
Enjoy the freedom of a fully equipped communal kitchen with a gas stove, solar fridge and freezer, dining area, and wash-up station with all the cutlery and crockery you need. Freshen up in our separate “His and Hers” bathrooms — each with three showers, toilets, and basins — with hot water provided by a traditional donkey boiler. Gather at the boma in the evenings to share stories under the stars.
Fill your days with adventure and discovery: guided nature walks, vulture viewing, permaculture tours, or mountain biking — all available by prior booking through our reservations team. If you run out of fresh produce, simply stroll over to our very own permaculture garden to pick what you need straight from the earth.
